How does it work?/Mode of action

Lumbamed plus has a stabilizing and relieving effect on the lumbar spine. Its compressive knitted fabric and the pad that is used also stimulate circulation and have a pain-relieving, massage effect without affecting the muscular force.
Supports have the greatest effect during physical exercise. In principle, the support can be worn all day. The special cut in the area of the groin (Comfort Zone) is decisive for the correct and comfortable fit of the support. However, this depends on how comfortable the support is to wear. The support should be taken off for longer breaks (e.g. sitting for a long time or a long car drive, sleeping).
If you suffer excessive pain or discomfort during wear, please take off the product immediately and contact your doctor or specialized shop.
The support is suitable for use in water. After use, please rinse out the product thoroughly.

Donning/fitting instructions

Pull the textile cover over the massage pad and fix it in the middle on the central, grey Velcro area between the two stays according to the instructions of your doctor or a specialist. The pad should be fastened so that its lower end rests just above the fold between the buttocks when worn.
First, slip your left hand into the internal wrist strap of the left side of the fastener. Guide the bandage around the body and then slip your right hand into the external hand strap of the right side of the fastener.
Pull both sides of the fastener into the middle so that they overlap as far as possible and stick to each other by the Velcro pads as evenly as possible. The bandage is properly fitted when the lower edge of the fastener is just above the groin.
Please always wear the Lumbamed plus on the skin and under your clothing. This maximizes the Clima Comfort Effect. Please take care that trained staff instructs you when putting on the support for the first time.

Washing instructions

Do not wash the pad together with the support. It can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Velcro fasteners should be closed for washing. We recommend using a laundry bag. Fabric softener, fats, oils, and ointments can attack the material and the Clima Comfort Effect can be impaired. Soap residues can cause skin irritation and material wear.

• You can wash the product by hand, preferably using a medi clean detergent, or in a delicate cycle at 30°C using a mild detergent without fabric conditioners.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
