Our online Home Health Care Supplies Stores strives to provide the best service in our industry. We have two websites to meet all the needs all the types of buyers: Online store for knowledgeable and focused people wishing to buy supplies from the comfort their places without having to go through trouble of visiting the store; Storefront website to get information about various assistance available as well as product information and aids to selecting correct product. The store front works in partnerships with our suppliers, doctors, occupation therapists, physiotherapists, the long-term care, assisted living and independent living facilities to best meet their needs and the needs of their clients/patients. Unlike other online stores, pharmacies and big-box stores, CalMedi Home Care store front is a dedicated, true and purposeful medical supply, home health care and add-on to their product line to increase sales!  Our store offers choice and variety of products to meet clients needs. We have trained and dedicated fitters on board.  Our store staff are passionate, committed, and focused assisting clients with their home health care and compression therapy needs. We take the time to ask appropriate questions and engage in discussion with our clients to better understand their needs and to provide appropriate medical supplies. We visit various facilities housing for seniors, long-term care facilities, assisted and independent living facilities promoting fall preventionmobility, and independent living. 


Our Story

CalMedi Home Health Care Store started in the year 2003. Our first store was located at 4411 16th Ave. NW in the main floor of the medical building. 

We had started with four staff members; two being the owners. The owners brought with them the following:

-      Strong passion and commitment to succeed and offer best customer service in its industry

-      Strong business operating and home care backgrounds

-      Electronic design, repair troubleshooting skills

-      Knowledge of medical home healthcare equipment

-      Training in stockings fittings


For pick up purposes:  

CalMedi moved to new place, which is our current location, in the year 2008. The current location offers our clients easy access into and outside the store parking. 

The parking stalls including handicap parking for our seniors and disabled clients are right across the entrance of the store. There are no parking fees and 

we are visible and easy to find from 16th Ave NW and Home Road. 


the local community, events and groups - Montgomery Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ).  

We are authorized and approved  vendors for AADLWCBNIHBDVA and Private Insurance.  We do direct billings for all former four but for later - private insurance.

Our niche was offering clients and medical professional personalized service not offered elsewhere. We became the member of the Drug Trading Co group based

in Toronto, Ontario in the year 2004.  CalMedi was the first stand-alone retail store to join the group from Western Canada.  The membership

enabled us to get access to all vendors in Canada, obtain training and lower cost of buying. This also gave us leverage to compete with our large and established 

competitor's stores.   Today we have grown to six staff members- 

all trained at various courses offered by the Drug Trading Co-head office as a requirement to become a member.  Every year our staff attend trade shows offered 

by Drug Trading in Toronto. Here they get an opportunity update their skills and to discover new trends/technology.
